By dedicating 65 years to safeguarding the physical and cultural legacy of one of the nation’s most important copper mining operations, the Quincy Mine Hoist Association has become a significant part of the Keweenaw's business community. The Association oversees preservation efforts that bring millions of dollars into the local economy, provides several full-time and seasonal employment opportunities, while fostering a distinct community identity by preserving and emphasizing our local heritage and the stories that created our towns.
Many local businesses have histories that date back to the time of the Quincy Mining Company itself, which means your company might very well be part of the story that we tell! By becoming a member of our organization you are taking part in a movement to ensure that a significant part of our nation's history remains preserved for generations to learn, witness, and truly experience.
We strive to work with local businesses to develop membership plans that fit their goals and abilities, we would love to hear from you if this is something you would like to talk about.
